Commercial Potential

It is estimated that the Ocean Harvester already in the compan´s first commercial wave farm in 2014-2015 will produce electricity at the price 60 EUR/MWh which is very competitive to, for example, wind power.

Going forward, it will be possible to reduce the production cost further to at least 40 EUR/MWh (in the same order as new installations of nuclear and hydro power) du to continued technical development and economics of scale.

The Ocean Harvester


An Ocean Harvester designed for 100 kW in a medium-strong wave climate will be approx. 14 meter long, 5 meters wide and 2 meters high.
