Ocean Harvesting Technologies AB (OHT) was founded in September 2007 in Karlskrona, Sweden, to develop and commercialize a patented innovation in ocean wave power technology which enables very cost efficient energy production.

OHT´s vision is to be a global provider of wave power technology and be competitive to conventional power production such as nuclear and hydro power.

OHT is a technology provider mainly focusing on business and product development. The Company will provide turnkey commercial installations to power utilities through partnerships within site prospectation, manufacturing, installation, operation and maintenance.

OHT has an innovative, experienced and dedicated organization which follows a very focused road map. Product development is implemented in an open innovation strategy in co-operation with carefully selected technology suppliers and development partners, research institutions and strategic customers.

The Company has entered into a strategic collaboration with power utility E.ON, who supports the project with know-how and funding. OHT has contracted top suppliers in the fields of generator and power electronics, computer simulations, Hull and ship design, Steal structures, Monitoring & Control system and transport & installation.

The core team at Ocean Harvesting is specialised in systems engineering and integration with focus on making a modular system with simple interfaces.
